A few jungle photos. I'll put more on of course and maybe write about my awesome experience. Maybe....
For this trip exchange students loaded up in a bus and drove from Lima all the way to Ecuador. It was super fun and we got to do incredible things like surf, swim with giant turtles, visit ancient sandcastles, and chill with friends on the beach. What could be better right? SOOOOO much has happened sense the last time I blogged. I've been so busy just doing I haven't taken time to blog or do anything I'm suppose to do back in the states... Like apply for college... or scholarships for college... I'm going to use the excuse that the United States and all that other stuff still doesn't feel real anymore. I text and call everyone and still miss my horse Romeo more then life but I've grown accustom to my life here. Sorry if that sounds selfish or conceited but it's my honest feelings at the moment. I only have 12 weeks left at this point. Did you know that? 12 weeks! I remember some of my first weeks here where I felt like I was going to die of homesickness and couldn't even contemplate the fact that I still had 11 mouths to go. And now... I only have 2 and 1/2 left. The saddest part is that when I leave I can never come back to the same. My friends here are other exchange students so when we come back to visit Peru all of our friends will be back in their own country's and that makes me sad. But it also reminds me to enjoy every moment so I suppose I should stop complaining. I mean at least I got this year with them.
Moving on. I've been doing a lot sense my last blog in January. I went on the trip to Ecuador, visited the jungle, changed families yet again (last time I promise!), found an awesome christen church in a theater, and have started taking art at a university. All that and I still have down time! It's a fancy free life. But don't worry Mom! I still miss the busy life and am ready to come back to it. *Wink |
